A Rich History Restored: Designing a Brochure that Pays Homage to the Past

Segue

Editorial

Segue, a historic broadcasting house in Budapest, was transformed into a contemporary living space. As a designer, I was tasked with creating a captivating brochure that would resonate with potential buyers and celebrate the building's rich history.

To achieve this, I developed a minimalist and timeless visual identity. Drawing inspiration from the building's distinctive architecture, I crafted a bespoke typeface for the cover. The retro colour palette was carefully selected to reflect the rich history of the broadcasting house. Contrasting hues of orange and maroon used for the imagery evoke a sense of the past and future overlapping, emphasising the building's enduring connection to the past while signalling its contemporary relevance.

The result is a brochure that not only showcases the property's stunning features, but also pays homage to its past. By blending modern design principles with historical references, I created a visually striking and informative piece that captures the essence of Segue.
